What’s the difference between this and your $1,000,000 host liability insurance?
Our $1,000,000 Host Insurance Policy is a general liability policy that protects qualifying hosts from lawsuits brought by third parties, such as guests, who claim they were injured or their property was damaged on-site during a booking. Unlike our property damage guarantee for hosts, it does not cover damage to your property. In addition, the Property Damage Guarantee is not insurance. It is simply an agreement from Peerspace to reimburse hosts for covered property damage for which a guest is responsible under the Peerspace Services Agreement and is unable or unwilling to pay for.
Does this guarantee apply to hosts operating outside the United States?
At this time, the property damage guarantee will only be valid for bookings within the United States. We hope to offer this exclusive new benefit to hosts in many other countries in the near future and will update with more info as soon as we can.
